He who works with his hands is a laborer,
He who works with his hands and his head is an artisan,
But he who works with his hands, his head, and his heart is an artist.

A lifelong resident of West Virginia, I have gained a love of nature and all its inhabitants. As an artist, I have been "creating" for as long as I can remember. Family camping trips and visits to the rural areas opened my senses to nature and God's wondrous creations at an early age.

Studying and working in the art field in all the traditional mediums led back to a more natural medium in which to create, wood. The folklore and legends of wood entices the creative energies to "pull out" all that is within.

My hope is to convey to the viewer the love of my art and the subjects I portray in a way that will promote appreciation, peace and harmony among all of God's creations.

I personally have been abundantly blessed. My woodland home is shared by a very supportive husband, beloved pets and an assortment of wildlife.

Thank you for letting me share a part of my world with you.
God bless
